Eyesight

If your find your eyesight deteriorating with age or have lived long term with moderate or severe sight impairment, you may be concerned about which continence products you can use.

However, many continence products are easy to manage with impaired vision or by touch once you get used to them, in same way as more everyday objects such as clothing and household implements.

For example, it is possible to tell the difference between pads by touch if they are of a different shape and size, and to find the front and back and inside and outside surfaces. Many visually impaired people can put on a sheath or pass a catheter by feel alone.
